‘The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes’.

About
I’m a designer, illustrator and creative thinker who loves bringing ideas to life through meaningful, human-centred design. For over 20 years, I’ve worked across branding, illustration, textile and digital design. Crafting thoughtful visual stories that balance creativity, clarity and purpose.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Federation University, I began my career in design studios across Australia and New York, including an internship with Pentagram under Michael Bierut. I later joined the design teams at Rip Curl and Roxy, where I developed a deep understanding of surf culture, product storytelling and the creative process behind world-class women’s collections.
In 2009, I launched Aviary Studio, collaborating with clients across fashion, education, financial services and not-for-profit sectors. Alongside my studio work, I’ve held sessional lecturing roles at RMIT’s School of Fashion and Textiles and supported design and illustration projects for leading Australian universities, including Monash and Deakin.
Most recently, I’ve enjoyed contributing to large-scale communication projects at the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) — helping shape accessible, engaging visual content across government campaigns and publications.
My approach is curious and collaborative — driven by the belief that good design connects people to ideas. I’m passionate about creating purposeful, accessible work that resonates and helps brands tell their story with authenticity and impact.
Please let me know if I can assist with your next project.
