After graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Federation University, I began my career in design studios across Melbourne and New York, including an internship at Pentagram under Michael Bierut. I later joined the creative teams at Rip Curl and Roxy, where I built a deep appreciation for product storytelling and the collaborative process behind globally recognised collections.

In 2009, I launched Aviary Studio, working with clients across fashion, education, financial services and not-for-profit sectors. Alongside my studio projects, I’ve enjoyed sessional lecturing roles at RMIT’s School of Fashion and Textiles and provided design support for leading Australian universities, including Monash and Deakin.

At Deakin Research, I partnered closely with institutes, faculties and strategic research centres to deliver impactful communications that supported engagement and outcomes, particularly across health and clinical trial initiatives. More recently, at the National Disability Insurance Agency, I’ve translated complex government information into accessible visual content for national campaigns and publications.

My approach is curious and collaborative, guided by the belief that thoughtful design helps connect people with ideas that matter. I’m passionate about creating purposeful, accessible work that supports learning, research and community outcomes. Communicating with clarity, integrity and care.
